I can bring an extra table for the community space and tarps if needed.

I'll be travelling from Grand Junction CO to SLC then west, leaving on the 22nd. Anyone else from my area?

14. Charlyf / 1knitwit, have figured out how to successfully cut and paste. We have a 20" Safari and will be there Monday thru Sunday. they are attending and are married, they have 2 tickets, one trailer and are trying to decide what to bring as a generator this year.

16. ebair - 34ft AS, crew long bed Chev, 55 ft, pull out canopy + 20x10 canopy, gen set, arrival not set in stone yet but prob Mon AM, will add info as aquired

17. richard77 - 24ft AS, Willys Wagon or 19' Cortez MH, Honda gen. Monday - Monday, 10 x 10 canopy

Pre-registered theme camps have reserved placement. We, on the other hand, are just a rag-tag-group of wanderers.

Stuff: Table and Tarps would be great.

I have just spent the last 4 1/2 hours reading this thread, and I'm more than a little 'burned out'...As I now understand it, I can show up unannounced with the 345MH towing two Excellas articulated together sucking on a chalk sock, licking sheetrock, tongueing beer-soaked carpet, playing a 500 watt digital system to please the 35 concealed aliens workforce, but I STILL have to provide my own beer...?
I may just have to wait till next year...
Sounds like I will regret missing this one, tho' I can be a vicarious thread voyeur...oh, that's right, I already am...

It's kind of like when we were boondocking at Quartzsite...you party with your friends, make some new ones, eat a little, drink a little, howl with the coyotes, suck a little dust...you know, that kind of stuff. Except there is a lot of music and art. Big art. Everywhere.

That's the thing.
One never really tries, it just kinda happens.

It's like stubbing your toe, you neither try or consciously avoid, but none the less it happens.

What is all this about licking chalk sticks. Is that a euphemism? Sign me up.

Mine is 30 feet long and I've done my darnedest to restore it to the best the 70's every was. I don't have and don't know what a MURS hand held radio is. But I do have a fabulous and original 8 track tape player in the Excella. We will burn so much gas to get there, why burn more driving around aimlessly. It's a big place and my Toyota Tundra Truck guzzles.

I always stay at the RV Park at the Grand Sierra Resort - (800) 501-2651 | Luxury Hotel and Casino in Reno (formerly the Hilton) in Reno. Gotta get that last buffet before going to the burn. Wanna meet up there Saturday night (or another RV park) and caravan it in Sunday night/Monday? I recommend reservations.

Hey all, just as a reminder, I will be bringing my 29 ft Silver Streak MoHo instead of the 22 ft Argosy with tow rig. Plan on getting there Monday morning. Open to camping at an RV park or invading a hotel Sunday night.

Also, where are we camping again?
