I think that the amazing hosts should take a bow and about a month long vacation! I am sure that they are already planning for next year and I doubt that any of us recognize the time, love and money that goes into the planning.....so I humbly say to Mary, Debbie, and Lora (Dennis, Ken, and Mike) thank you for all that you do to make the weekend seem effortless and fun for all of us...while you quietly, and constantly go about the "business" part of things behind the scenes. The love that you put into it all shows in the details! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
You all rock!

"My favorite thing was the so called Dirty Santa Game, anyone who saw that last move Mr. Jim made had to agree that Yes Virginia there IS a Santa Claus!"

Yes, Jim....what can I say? You are such a loving and kind soul. Each time I see you I am reminded of how generous and loving we are supposed to be toward each other, where others fail, you reign! Thank you, not just for "stealing the gift and then giving it away" but for being the sweetheart that you are all the time!

Ugly Sweater

Well, now our friends don't like us. I couldn't make myself throw away our ugly sweaters so I gifted them away with the stipulation that the new owners must wear them once, send us a photo and pass them on to another deserving couple. It's not often that you get matching His and Hers sweaters like these!

I wonder why they don't like us! (hey is that a WBCCI beret?)

A little time has passed. I still can't post pics. I have apparantly reached my limit and cannot figure out how to get rid of old pics. Ahh well...Our house is full of kids and grandkids (read that as NOISY). I'm sitting out back watching the smoker do its thing. Peaceful back here and I can relax and remember.
Good googly moogly that was a good time folks! Our hosts outdid themselves yet again! Great park, market days was fun (got me a new Aussie hat from the guy who says every year, "this is my last event"). Too funny, he is always moving to Costa Rica or Cape Hatteras, or wherever. Can't wait to hear where he is going next year!
Thanks for not shunning us my Airstream friends. Our big ol SOB was kind of an eyesore, I know. You guys aee the best friends ever!

One of these days you will return to your senses. In the meantime, we could have an intervention or.....you could borrow one of mine to scratch the itch.

Hope to see you in Goliad with a test run on the Argosy 24'

Merry Christmas, Y'All!!

Went to Blanco SP to set up camp for a german couple visiting Texas. Some of you have met them a few years ago at Eagle of the Canyon, when they were on their way to Central America with the VW Van.
Blanco SP sure doesn't look anything like it does when we fill it with aluminum and duct tape .
Was a good opportunity to try out the new TV....
