Water heater is not working

Hello,
The water heater in our 06 25ft International stopped working suddenly. Do not hear lighter, verified propane. Any easy fixes! Thanks so much!

One thing you may want to check is the thermal cutoff. It looks like a fuse, with a plastic sleeve. You may google "atwood thermal cutoff" for a better description.

I've had it fail on mine when spider web clogged burner tube causing the flame to burn in the outer housing of the water heater. This overheated it and caused the cutoff to blow. If it is blown the water heater will be dead.

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle

Welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us.

Sometimes, the water heater contacts become intermittent. Try this. Open the outside water heater access door. There are four wires going into the main body of the water heater. Remove the one on your left, clean the contact, an replace it . Try the water heater again. If it still doesn't work, move the wire back and forth on the contact to help clean it. Try it again. Hopefully, this will work. Let us know if it works.

It's the wire closest to the shield with the two red wires going into it in the picture.

Could be you lost the air gap in your tank. Try releasing the water pressure.

Thanks Brian....including the picture really helped. I have cleaned my contacts and blown out the area. My light comes on, stays on, no ignition sound. Is there an in-line fuse? I'm tired of my hot water showers being from the hot water in the long water hose I connected.
