Water Heater gas valve repair

Need help...Gas valve on my GC6A7E Atwood)water heater has stopped working. One solenoid is defective. I am looking for a used unit. part number would be #93870 old no. and 93844 new number. If you have replaced your water heater and have the old one laying around check to see if would work for me. Perhaps you know of a dealer that deals in used parts. This is for my 1985 325 unit MH.

New solenoid is 160.00 so am trying to find used.
Thanks for your help.

Orland, I just replaced my water heater, it finally rusted out. The PO had replaced the temp sensor and solenoid. It's fairly new. I can look at the unit and see if I can locate part numbers, etc.
I'll try to post a pic, too.
If you can use it, that would be great!

Orland, the part number on the water heater valve assembly is: 27C55U 658
This is a pilot light, not electronic, gas valve. It has the temperature dial, and heat-bulb thermocouple. It was a replacement for the original gas valve, on the OEM water heater from a '69 Overlander.
Please let me know if that would work.
Thanks,
Ed

attn Edglenn: My unit is all electronic so that
probably wouldn't work. I did go to Camping World
last week and bought the part that I needed so I am
back in business. Thanks for the offer to help!!
