Using manufactured propane lines

I replaces all my old kinked propane lines with "hydraulic lines"
Well not really but I did go to my local hydraulic line store and had them custom fit high pressure lines for gas and propane with pressed fittings
I don't recall anyone else doing this
I believe they are going to be more forgiving that copper
But I open to other opinions
