Type of Copper?

We are to the point on the 55 where I need to start connecting the propane lines to the appliances as I install. I plan on using 1/2” main trunk line attached to the belly pan and branch off with 3/8” tubing and a valve to each appliance. I’m using double flares since I have the tool. I wanted to use soft K copper tubing due to the thicker wall over L. I’m having a tuff time finding a small quantity of K, so I may just go with L. Does anyone see a problem with short runs of L along the belly pan as long as I sleeve it with water hose or PEX? Or, does anyone know a good source for small quantities of soft K tubing? Thanks

Your fine with L soft. That's what airstream uses asfaik. K is overkill

Either K or L is ok for gas fuel. L is more appropriate for what you are doing. Read here>

Last pipe I replace I found it at Ace Hardware, cut to length at the store.

Thanks for the input. That’s exactly what I was looking for. One problem solved and time to move on to the next, HVAC ducting in a 55.
