Turning furnace on at thermastat

We recently purchased bambi sport 16. i know at walk through they said to turn heat off you need to feel a click on thermastat. Now i can't seem to get the switch to move to turn it on. dont want to force it and break it. any help is greatly appreciated.

Pretty tight sometimes! Hold housing with one hand and throw switch with other, using fingers only.

thanks - I tried but it won't budge. the knob on bottom moves freely to control how hot you want it but the top switch won't budge. Maybe I'm not suppise to move the switch on the top?

Can you take a picture of the thermostat and post it? Not everyone has seen a 2018, and no one knows what and when gets changed by Airstream.
