Troubleshooting a really old regulator

Been trying to figure out challenges in lighting my Dometic 50 fridge in my 1961 Tradewind and had a thought. It seems like I may have a weak gas flow throughout the trailer. Stove will sputter but not light and the valve at the new water heater does not seem to have a strong flow. I still have the original regulator. I could not see a make but am attaching a photo. The glass covering the full/empty gauge is broken. I am wondering if the regulator is impeding the gas flow. Any way to easily test the gas flow out of this? I have thought about getting a new auto switch over, but like the look of the arrow dial. But if this is bad, makes for an easy decision.

You can use a manometer and check the pressure with something using LP.
I have seen a couple of Airstreams that have somehow ended up with water in the LP lines. We blew the lines out and the problem was solved.
If that regulator is not working properly, it would be a very good idea to simply get a new replacement. Replacement regulators are inexpensive, mushroom clouds and smoking craters, not so much.

Regulators seldom last more than 15 to 20 years with safety. I really would suggest you replace it with a new one no matter what.

The one on my 2014 has an arrow to point to the tank in service, just like your original one.

One more thing figured out. Bought a new regulator today and everything works. The old one was restricting the gas flow so nothing had sufficient gas! Appreciate the suggestions.

Had the same issue on my Bambi II. Hard starts and weak flame. Replaced the 49 year old regulator with a new modern 2 stage automatic regulator. Easy starts and good strong gas flow. Inexpensive and easy to do upgrade.
