Replace 63 Tradewind water tank?

I have a 63 Tradewind that has a pressure type fresh water tank. The old compressor no longer works. I am wondering should I replace the pressure tank and compressor for a pump and tank, or should I try to replace the under counter compressor?

I kept the steel tank and installed a water pump after the tank. less than $100. Tank weighs about 100 lb. New plastic one would be 40 lb. b The on demand system is less prone to leaks when unattended or on the road.
