Removing stove

Hi everyone.

I need to repair the floor in the doorway of my 84 Sovereign and the whole counter with the stove and sink needs to come out. I can't see how to take the stove out without ripping and tearing. I'd like to keep everything somewhat intact. The bottom of the cabinet is bad also but I'd like to keep the original as a template.

The furnace is under the stove but once the stove is out I think I can figure out how to remove the furnace.

As an aside, I'd like to know how many people actually use the stove in their AS. I mean, you're out camping, why would you bake? I don't cook much at home, I guess I wouldn't cook while camping. I'm going to add a microwave that would probably do it.

Anyway, I've searched back a couple years and haven't seen this topic, so if it's here somewhere could someone direct me? Also is there an IPC or a maintenance manual I can look up or buy that will give me schematics and drawings?

Thanks much.

Looking down at your stove, with the burners removed, there should be two or three screws on either side going sideways into the countertop. Remove those, disconnect the gas line and the stove should slide our towards you.

Finally got a chance to get the stove out today. It was just as you said, Mike, very easy. Thanks so much.
