Question RE: Ohio Dealer for Propane Cover

I heard that there was a dealer in Ohio that has the propane tank covers for airstreams and the price was $147 or somewheree around there. Could anyone point me in that direction if they have a website or telephone number. I'd like to purchase one. Thanks for any advice.

My how Rumors fly!

I had reported that I saw a propane cover for $147 at the store in the Airstream Service Center at Jackson Center, Ohio. Someone else called and got a price of around $450. The one I saw may have been for 20# tanks or a "scratch and dent". There was a whole pile of stuff grouped together that had low prices marked on them. I noted the price, but did not pay much attention to it, as I was interested in looking at other things.

Smile Thanks.

Thanks so much, maybe I'll just stick it out and paint them the "warm silver" someone mentioned. Did that person mean Wal-Mart when he stated wally world?

Thanks
Tim

Smile Nice Tanks

I took a look at your silver tanks, they turned out nice, where did you buy the paint, what was the paint color name? Thanks, I think that I'll do the same. They look great. Escpecially when your looking at four hundred dollars for a tank cover.

Lightbulb Paint

Tim,
You can find the spray paint at home depot..It was not bright silver but, the aluminum paint..I'm sorry to say, the empty cans are buried under deep snow now. Give me a few days and, the next chance I get..I'll stop by H.D. and, pick up for that info for you.
As I recalled, I used three cans of it..sprayed abt 10 inches or so back from the surface..Actually went over it several times to lay down a good layering. No wind plse~! lol
ciao
Glad you like the finis results.
