Perfect!

Good job! I particularly like the bottom mount shown.

Bad news on the one that shows the Propane bottle mounted inside the closed box WITH the battery, solenoid, switches and electrical controls. Good news is that they caught the problem before the fire ball.
Thanks!!!

When we had a pop up trailer it had a single 20# propane tank. The regulator was attached to the fitting that went into the tank. It was a very simple setup and worked well for the many years we owned the trailer.

a clean vintage look type

Richard,
Yes on the regulator to the bottle. My big problem was, is, the bottle mount to the pipe frame and all that that entails. I want a clean look thats solid.

I too liked that idea best. I think I would try to make the bottom ring round to give it a vintage look and cleaner appearance. Good luck.

Strange setup

We just acquired an '83 27' Excella. The automatic change over regulator was mounted about a foot above the tongue inside the cover, with a hole in the front of the cover to see the "flag" when a bottle runs dry. The hole is located behind the tongue jack, so the "flag was hidden from sight. It looked like a factory installation. The PO just lived with the situation. He let a bottle run dry, then changed over to the other, not using the automatic feature of the regulator. I moved the regulator up to the top of the bottles and bought a new hose at the local RV supply. While I was at it I put on a new regulator and upper supply hoses.

Will all be better now.
