Propane Line quick release valve set up

Does anyone know if the Propane line going to the quick release valve on the trailers thong is before or after the regulator on the LP tanks? Looking get a longer propane line to hook up to the grill which has a regulator. If the line on the Airstream is on the after side of the regulator. That would be double regulated. Not Good.

It is after the regulator. Mine, of course, didn't have a hook up at all so I obtained high pressure bits and pieces, mostly from McMaster Carr, and run high pressure to the grill, and portable gas fire pit.
