Opinions Needed on new gas lines.

I just had my propane company come over to replace the heater in my garage. I got into a lengthy discussion with the tech about flared fittings vs soldered fittings. He suggested that when I replace the gas lines on the trailer that I "sweat" or solder the fittings because it is less prone to leak.

Any opinions?

I don't know. My natural gas lines at home are soldered but trying to solder in the close confines of the trailer especially with the smaller diameter of the tubing seems to be more than what I would like to deal with.

The other thought is that the soldered lines in my house don't move. I wonder what the integrity would be of a soldered line in a moving, flexing trailer?
