Old school, butterfly-shaped LP wingnut

I've seen a couple of these threaded tank rack tighteners before, and love them. This particular one sits atop a pair of Worthingtons on a '58 Flying Cloud at the RV Museum & Hall of Fame in Elkhart, IN.

Are these still made, or perhaps theres an NOS examples floating around in some classified ad I haven't seen? All I've got is a boring ole' nut.

That is a nice "keeper".

I got this super-duper wing nut (yeah, I know - I'm not level by a long way):

I have the same thing on my 60. Take a look here Propane Tank Rack. Maybe someone has just that part laying around.

Indeed, there it is in the cartoon! Maybe I can find out from VTS who manufactures it and whether it looks like the drawing. Thx for the lead.

By the way ... I bought that set-up from a local RV shop to replace the portion that sits below the super-duper wing nut - the part that actually contacts and holds onto the propane tank. Unfortunately, that replacement part did not fit my tanks. The little cut slots were not in the correct locations and I had to have the part *reemed out* at a metal shop. It's kind of ugly now - but it works! My original part had cracked down the middle and the shop said a repair wasn't really plausible.
