Musical LP Regulator
Greetings:
Our 2008 27' Safari, which has just passed its first birthday, has an interesting characteristic: the LP regulator makes an audible noise, sort of a groan/whistle, especially when both the refrigerator and another appliance are in use, e.g. the stove burner. Sometimes, it's even slightly audible with just the reefer running.
Should i be concerned? Otherwise, everything works well, with no noticeable reduction in LP pressure.
Thanks....... Jeff Cooney

Me too...
Our 2008 30' Classic also makes these wonderful sounds.
I will be curious about any responses....

From a safety or reliability standpoint, I would not be concerned.
What surprises me is that, when I have had a 'musical' regulator in the past, it has always been because it was a cheap one. The Fisher reg on my Airstream has never made any noise.
What brand is Airstream installing on new units such as yours?

Now if you can just get to take requests. How about an iPod compatible regulator?

Groan...
Our Fisher regulators on both our Argosy and our Overlander made not a peep, squeal, hum, buzz, or whistle. The relatively cheap self-switching regulator on our Sovereign sings to us when the water heater burner cuts on.

I would add it to my list of warranty issues and have the dealer look at it
