LPG valve

We just bought a 2016 classic and it has a LPG valve to hook up a gas grill and we hooked up the gas grill it's a small one and we could not get the grill to heat up we can see the gas going to it at a low flame but turned it way up and we could not get the grill to heat up on high any suggestions would be helpful thank you

This has been covered a gazillion times on the forum. Most grills run on high pressure propane, a canister, and have a regulator. Your trailer port is low pressure, already regulated. You now have two regulators in series and pressure so low that you cannot grill. The possible solutions are covered in other threads.

The grill works fine with that 1 pound canister don't know if I need an extra adapter for the grill or a bigger grill

Larry hit the mark.

I do not know which "grill"'you have.. So hard to say what might be an option... But.. The AS has a regulator from your onboard LP tanks. The LP piping will then deliver the proper pressure and flow.. But you in this case you cannot have one regulator feed another one.

So, if you know how to do the plumbing, I would have a single attachment on the grill for LP from AS with another regulator for running off the 1LB bottle. You will end up with a regulator for the 1LB bottle... And the AS LP lines already have a regulator.

Confused yet??? If you burn down your AS, it was all on you... The Legal DPT had to step in here...

The Search engine is your friend and useful if used wisely: Go to the appropriate subforum (in this example: LP Gas), then click on "Search this Forum" (in blue tool bar), then click "Advanced Search", then enter the Key Word (let's say "grill"), and change the field from "Search Entire Posts" to "Search Titles only", which will provide more relevant threads (of posts). And on any thread, you can click "Search this Thread" for more specific results!

A solution which works for most situations like this is to cut the hose at the portable regulator to remove it, and install a quick-connect-male fitting to connect to your Airstream low-pressure system.
This will likely work fine if your grill has individual burner knobs. If not, then you can regulate the flame with another valve installed inline.
