This is on a MH, right??

Any propane dealer should be able to purge the tank with nitrogen and give you an invoice stating they have done so.

Have you tried 411yellowpages.com an on-line telephone directory? Try propane for business type and Galveston, TX or Houston, TX for location.

Propane tanks Vehicles with propane tanks for auxillary uses must be delivered for shipment with the propane tanks empty of any liquid or fumes. The empty tank must be tagged and certified as "gas free" by an authorized propane dealer or service company. We recommend that you verify the cost of emptying and certifying propane tanks. It may be less costly to purchase a new tank at your destination.

Hey Lili,

This is what one shipping company has on their website..

Most MoHo's that I am familiar with have permanently mounted tanks. But leaving it behind still could be an option.

You could probably get these people to help you:
Praxair, Inc. - Manufacturer of industrial, process and specialty gases
They are in Texas City, right by the Port of Galveston.

Here's the phone number, it didn't make it into my original post:
(409) 943-9200

Even if they can't help you, they should be able to tell you who can in that area.
