LP Regulator w/Auto Change Over

We have 2014 25FB Flying Cloud. I do not much like the LP regulator with auto change over feature. It is not easy to see level of tanks and when I opened the LP tank cover yesterday I got a faint smell of gas. If I need to go through the trouble of finding a leak I am thinking I might also upgrade the regulator if there is a better one available. Has anyone found a good replacement for the LP regulator that is put on the 2014 models? I understand they changed in 2015?

Other regulators won't have indicators of remaining capacity. You can get external handheld units like the pen type device from Truma and they work pretty well. Marshall is one of the other primary makers of regulators with a switch over function. Marshall 254.
