LP Regulator Hissing?

Mine is a 76 G/T - I just filled propane tanks - my G/T has a fisher regulator - I am hearing a hissing noise - gas leak - when I open the propane tank valve.

Are these units repairable? Maybe I need to just replace the L/P rubber hoses or?

Picture is attached - it is rather antiquated.

Thanks,

Ken in MN

Replace it with a new auto-switchover regulator. About $40.

Agreed. Also a good time for new hoses from the regulator to the tanks. I see you already have the OPD valves. New hoses would allow you to connect and disconnect without having to get a wrench.

I have new tanks and a new regulator, and I still have to get a wrench to disconnect my hoses. Am I missing something?

Yep. New hoses, or according to VTS, pigtails. You should be able to get them locally, too.

Neat, I was just hooking up my tanks the other day and fussing around looking for a wrench. Looks like that is just the thing. Thanks!

Thanks all,

Where is good place to buy the regulator and hoses? I'm in Minneapolis but could also shop via internet.

Most any descent sized RV/Marine store should have the regulator and hoses. Camping World would have those as well.
