LP "breakdown"?

When changing my LP lines, when I loosened a fitting at the low point, a black, very oily liquid came out. I guess about 1/3 ounce. It had the distinct odor of LP which is a product added during production? I haven't seen this on previous LP line work.

Any thoughts on source, etc?

Thanks in advance. .

It is water/ condensate in the lines mixed with the organics in the gas. You should either replace the lines or clean them out carefully.
