kink in gas line

While doing an inspection on the underside of my recently acquired 1985 31 foot Excella I noticed that the gas line from my main line to the fridge has a kink in it. It looks like it is completely closed however the fridge works fine. What would be the best repair for this problem? 1) Cutting out the kink and joining the line with some kind of splice. 2) Replace the whole line from the main connection across the bottom of the trailer and up to the fridge. If so what is the size of this pipe. I am assuming it is copper.
I have been follwoing the forum for about a year and have really learned al lot from it. Now I have got my AS and this is my first post, so I now feel like one of the gang.

Welcome to the gang! If it works, you know what to do with it!

You may be able to partially un-kink it with a pair of pliers. It's a gamble. You will either fix it or confirm that you must replace it. I wouldn't splice this. Just replace it.

First of all congratulations on your recent purchase. If you cut the line, I would recommend you replace the whole section from the Tee to the appliance, or first valve if possible so as to avoid having any more connections than nescessary.

It should be copper, though I'm not sure of the line size ( I'd guess 0.375"). You'll want to use flare connections.
