How to light stove?

I'm going to my friend's 1973 Airstream for several days.

She just got it and has never lit the stove and in fact couldn't get it going on the weekend.

If I can get the gas flowing, do they usually have a built in striker for the oven pilot or do I have to reach in to somewhere with a match?

If it is a 73 stove you likly use a lighter for the cooktop and the oven. Just like your gas stove at home. Sitting that long you could have stuff in the gas line or burner orifice to clear away.

Good Luck.

My 75 has a gas shut off valve inside the stove under the top. This is a stove oven combo and you get to the valve by popping the top surface up.
