Hose from tank to regulator needs replacing

I have a 92 25' Excella. The propane system has two 7-gallon tanks. It draws off the passenger side tank only, no matter where the arrow on the regulator is set. An RV repairman told me the hose from the regulator to the driver's side tank is a likely culprit, and that the new hoses have some safety features the old ones lack. He mentioned a name, but I can't remember it. Any suggestions on what kind of hoses to buy? I'm thinking that I should replace both of them to get up to modern standards. Any thoughts?

With my limited exp in this area, I'd say replace both with the modern safety features, cheap safety in the long run. YMMV
