Help with my argosy propane interior line

i have 2 line inside my trailer that look exactly like this.....

i have no purpose for one of them but i dont want to remove it in case of future need. Is there a plug i can put in this flare to close it? something safe...anything?

the second line, i would like to be able to install a flexible propane cable for my Mr Big buddy heater. how do i connect this flare to a propane line like this...
