This afternoon I set off my gas detector. How did I do it? I was cleaning out my computer. It was full of dust. I bought a can of compressed air. It went for it. It went off after a few minutes of cleaning. I was suprised. I though I had sprung a gas leak. I silenced the detector and went out side and turned off my gas.
I came back inside and started wondering. I was not using any gas.
Then it occured to me to look at the can of "air" I was using. Extremely flamable! It is Propane. Duh!
Just a as test I shot a little towads the detector. within 5 seconds it went off. Well that was it and my faith in my Airstream was restored.

I'm there with you! This happened to us with air freshener! I think almost any cannned stuff with a propellant will do this. The good thing, is that you now know your gas detector is working...and that's good peace of mind...
