Free - Two Propane Tanks w/ Regulator

We are going all electric on our '67 Caravel so took off our two tanks. Didn't know what to do with them so I am offering them to the AS Community. They worked fine with our gas stove before we took them off, but that's all I know about them . Will try to load a picture of them also

tank disposal

Took my extra tank to the local Hazardous Materials drop off station. They offer chems and such for reuse, so it's both a reuse and a recycle path. Most cities have them for household items. Maybe a backup plan if no takers pop up. Pat

If they are aluminum tanks would be a shame to scrap them,

Hi, Bill in Austin, and could come pick them up, depending on size and condition.

Can you let me know how long since they were certified, and what their capacity is, please? I have an 1986 Avion, 25', and I think they would work for that. . .

Thank you and happy new year.

Here's what I know

The tanks came with our Caravel when we bought her a year ago. They are the old fashioned metal tanks, not the new expensive aluminum ones. I cannot tell when they were certified last, only that they were working when I took them off. Hope that clears up any questions. They are located in Houston, TX also.
