Excella Double Propane Tank Shroud Lid

We have an 88 Excella. We are looking for the lid for the propane tank shroud. Ours blew off while traveling. The hinge is left but the lid ripped off. Any suggestions or leads will be appreciated.

I have an Excella '88 that is 29'. I too have been keeping my eyes out for a replacement double propane tank cover. I have had no luck but will keep this post in mind if I should come across a couple.

I was suprised to find out that the moulded lid is available from airstream by itself. As I remember it was like $75.00. But that was a couple of years ago.

I'm Thinkin

I also need to fab up a complete tank cover for my small AS. None of this is dificult if you have done this type of thing before. I just have not been in a rush. My plan is to take the cover off my big AS, take a splash off it and make a mold to lay up a new part. For only one it is time consuming BUT for a half dozen or so, hum. The nice part is I would make mine with a foam core to add stiffness yet remain lightweight, maybe even add a small storage hidden place for keys or other small items. Still pondering. DG
