Converting my single stage regulator to a double.

My 1976 Land Yacht has a Fisher single stage gas regulator. I've been advised to upgrade to a Marshal 2 stage model. Now, the old Fisher model mounts with 2 screws in a vertical fashion to a tank mounting bracket. The Marshal however, uses 4 screws in a square configuration. I guess I need to fabricate an adapter plate to attach to to my existing tank bracket, and allow for the new 4 screw arrangement.
Am I barking up the wrong tree on this fix??
Is there another (simpler) fix??

Mike

It sounds to me that this is one of those projects that will take less time to just do and not spend a lot of time thinking about. When you have all the pieces to the puzzle the answer will come to you kind of thing. Good luck.
