1969 gascock ??

Hello fellow streamers,

What is the correct position for the gascock lever,on the LPG line, so it is in a closed position ? Is it 90 degrees from an open position or 180 degrees ??

Should be 90 degrees closed, and 180 open (at least it is on all of my 1971 fittings).

When the handle is in line with the gas line the valve is open. When it is perpendicular to the gas line it is closed.
