We need to keep an eye on that one because it's a show-stopper for many of us. I wonder if the motion, as revised by the C&BL committee, will be sent to the units in April so they can vote on it, or whether it will be taken up as "old business" at the Delegates Meeting without prior notice to the members?

If it's not included in the April agenda to unit presidents I think I will ask our unit for a vote to advise our delegate of the unit's wishes. I'm sure the outcome will be the same as it has been the umpteen times this issue has come up in the past.

I wasn't listening for the first time in years as the agenda looked pretty thin.

Was anything actually accomplished other than Flag approvals and housekeeping.

In other words what did we get that justifies this expense??

Rick,

The ECC report obtained some results. You should listen to Carolyn's ECC report in the beginning of the seminar. Apparently there was a long meeting on Thursday with the leadership about direction and approvals to move forward on several items. I am not sure that the effect of her report would have been the same in an electronic meeting format.

Thanks Bill. I will listen to it.
Carolyn did an excellent presentation this fall at the region 5 computer rally.

I think the ECC is doing an excellent job. Just need for a few people to get out their way.

Maybe what WBCCI needs is a "three strikes" rule, so that a motion that has been defeated three times is dead forever, and issues like this won't keep cluttering the docket forever and ever.
