What if WBCCI international dues were $175......

.... and included:

- Good Sam Roadside Assistance
- Airstream Life
- A watered-down Skymed policy
- Free registration to your Region Rally.

Tough call. I don't think I'll ever have or need Skymed anyway. As long as I'm still working for a living and have other demands on my limited vacation time than just attending WBCCI events, my chances of attending the Region Rally are slim, but after I retire… If we're just talking about Good Sam Roadside, Airstream Life, and WBCCI, I would probably come out slightly cheaper getting those a la carte than together with bennies that I can't use right now.

I would certainly look favorably on that. It would depend on the breakdown of the individual items. Even though I am still working, I have thought about Skymed for our family in order to cover some of the remote/undeveloped places we vacation throughout the world.

I think it would be nice IF and ONLY IF these are optional add-ons to membership. Those who want it can get it; others aren't required to and aren't burdened with the cost.

I like Eubanks comment. That said, I all ready subscribe to Airstream Life (fantastic publication), and after reading this forum have Good Sam Roadside ( I would expect that to include the Camping World stuff since I don't think you can get the GSR independently). That leaves the Skymed (I never got an answer on who flies the planes (yes, it makes a difference)), and my region rally which if it is as good as I heard the last one was at Stone Mountain, I plan to attend.

I think $175 would be a net savings. (The Skymed level would be the determination on savings)

Maybe if it were an optional "premium" membership.

I would be interested in what prompted this question.

The time when the WBCCI had the membership numbers to negotiate such things has long since pasted. Yes such things would have been nice if acted on long ago. Family Motor Coach has a membership deal with Michelin that allows members to buy directly from Michelin and having the tires are shipped to the dealer of your chose for installation.

There are far better roads service companies than Good Sam, speaking from direct experience.

I would almost consider paying that just to STOP receiving all of the Good Sam junk mail.... NOT going to happen.

No.

I need none of those things along with my membership. I can get them myself if I want them.

Yes, the Stone Mtn. Rally was a very good rally. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time and many put in a lot of work to make it a good rally. We appreciated all their efforts. Planning to attend next year in NC.
