Hey Frank,
With the additional stop in Peru, what time do you think ya'll will make it to Elkhart? With my crew I need all the time I can get!
With a 8:00 departure time from Jackson Center plus the google map drive time and the one hour planned stop in Peru. They should be here around 2:00 in the afternoon (give or take). Hope this helps, Mike

Thats what I was thinking Mike, thank you for the reply and confirming. Hopefully Baker will quit blowing tires and not hold everyone up.

We will be meeting them in Elkhart, however, I think we may take a diffrent route then going up 43, I think we are going to go up I39.

My your roads be straight and smooth and may you always have a tailwind!
Our intrepid caravaners were in Jackson Center yesterday. In view of the high temperature (90s) the concept of wagon wheeling in the service parking area (for which Airstream had considerately cleared a spot) was abandoned in favor of the shady grass adjacent to the Terraport.
I think PeeWee knows everybody at Airstream! Most of the employees have been there for year, so makes a lot of sense. . .
Big Change.... anyone trying to join us at the RV Hall of Fame should know we went to a campground. It is very hot and we thought AC would be best for those who have. We are just a few miles from the Hall of Fame at Elkhart Campgrounds. The address is 25608 County Road 4 East. Come out of the Hall of Fame turn right, go to the next light and turn left. The campground is on the left a few miles down. Sorry if anyone was left wondering where we went.
Oh... it hurts that I couldn't go on this one, but duty called. We passed in the night as I headed east from Pittsburgh to Virginia Beach. I periodically join in and at least read this thread to keep with you all in spirit.
The heat will get to you, so I'm glad to see you went for the shade and the air conditioning. At least you don't have the goose drowning rain I got last week. Think I got that last leaky rivet because it was bone dry inside except for where I left the bathroom vent open and it rained on my last roll of TP....
Be safe and happy trails
Paula
