Got my number
I have my desired number reserved ... 9632, my date of birth. I may be getting old and forgetful, but I can remember that number.

Got time to look up another?
Hello, the number on my newly acquired A/S is 28827. Not only am I interested in finding out if the number is still available but if someone has an old directory I would love to try and trace back its ownership and learn some of its history.
Thanks

WBCCI #''s
Hey,
It looks like my airstream had several numbers plus 4 stars. What do the stars mean?
Also if you wouldn't mind looking up any of these number combinations, that would be great. We are going to sign up to the WBCCI soon.
Thanks- Sharon Lee

I don't have my book here but I am sure someone can check the numbers for you. You could also call the WBCCI office and they will tell you if it is available as well as put a hold on the number until they get your app. As to the stars, each star signifies 5 continuous years of membership in WBCCI. If your trailer had 4 stars that means a 20+ year member owned it!

Thanks for looking up the numbers.
I just submitted my application.
I would love to find out more about the first owner. It's pretty cool to know someone really had fun in it! I'ts hard to tell which one of the set of numbers were the ones that were used, they are really faded.

Andrea ~
Per the 2002 Membership Directory, 3003 is not currently assigned...check with the WBCCI Office to verify it though.

anything on 14120 , i understand he is no longer living...also that he worked for airstream ,had something to do with running gear.... with six stars i would say he had to be around about 30 plus years....

Got my number!
I requested and received #9632. This is my date of birth (9/6/32).
WBCCI sent me a set of loose numbers, but I was not at all happy with the alignment and spacing I was able to achieve. I ripped the numbers off and ordered a set of vinyl numbers "96329632" which come pre-spaced on a backing sheet. I'll cut the sheet in half and use the straight edge of the sheet to align with the Airstream name. I should get a nice, neat alignment that way.
I ordered the numbers from the same place that made my "Sabre-D" lettering. Kind of pricy, but I think crooked numbers look like heck.

Installing WBCCI numbers
I used 2 inch masking tape to center & keep my numbers straight, ran a length along the bottom using the AS letters as a guide, attached the first number, ran a line of tape vertical along the right side to keep square, attached second number, etc... worked great and looks good. They should include that in the instructions but they dont. If you need to remove them use a clothes iron set on warm and a towl to loosen them.
