Wink wizardry and good and bad witches

Membership voted it down and leadership wont stop until they get what they want, ah but just believe. The committees are all for the good of membership and you too can have an important part in the do it yourself constitution to replace all the things you always wanted to do but were too afraid to ask. We now give you that power, and eh sorry about all that past misunderstanding and misinformation.

There are no conspiracies. There is no self protectionist group at the top, HEY get away from that curtain. I am OZ, I am...oops.

Delegates, you don't need me or the IBT to find courage, a brain, or heart. You have always posessed those things within yourself. You can go back home to your unit. But until you come to that epiphany watch out for those dang flying monkeys! They'll get you and mess with you every time. Either that or the bad witch will throw magic dust in your eyes to slow you right down. Better grab Toto and head off in the stream waving good-by now that you know better.

Come to think of it it all has seemed like a nightmare or cautionary tale of woe. Wonder if we get to live happliy ever after at the end of this epic fairy tale.

Paul, will you talk to us lowly trailer owners when you get your Prevost?

If Paul's Prevost is allowed to get big red numbers, I should be able to get big red numbers for my diesel pusher too, right?

Thumbs up

It doesn't get any nicer than Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz for wholesomeness and goodness sake. Some may not agree but I think the points are well documented to support my opinions. Fortunately I timed out before I got to specifics. Or as Bob would say civility aside Carol... yet it truly isn't a matter of incivility aside, but actually it is the matter of criticism that has been objected to. I admit my "smiling faces" routine is not ready for implimentation. Nope I am never gonna make the big time with the way I am headed...

CrawfordGene,

Sure I will talk to you members of the WBCCI, you'll just have to come and visit me on "Gold Row" with the rest of the leadership. May I also suggest you call first, I maybe working with those to create bigger and better "Special Committee's"

The staff has posted to this thread three times over the last few days asking for civility. We understand this topic draws heated debate and the topic is of interest to many but we are closing it for a time until things cool somewhat.

Until this thread is reopened do not start another discussion on this topic.

On behalf of the site team.

Exclamation Please Read This

After much discussion we are re-opening this thread. This message is to make sure participants clearly understand that the community rules apply here, and that posts violating these rules will be removed. We recognize the emotion associated with this subject but there is absolutely no room here for rude, condescending, or boorish posts aimed at inflaming or insulting others. This also applies to “One line zingers”, or “Comebacks".

This is an “Open Discussion” forum where members are free to post questions, offer advice, and express their opinions within the boundary of the site rules. You are free to disagree or rebut posts, but you must do so without ridicule or open attack. If you don't feel you can post accordingly then please consider refraining all together. Likewise, should you encounter a post you believe violates the site rules you are encouraged to report it.

The site team’s desire is to be light handed by letting subjects run their course and not intervening. While we value your participation be advised that posting in a manner that violates the intent of this message will result in consequences. If there are any doubts about the content, or motivation of your message then consider the content of this message prior to posting.

In closing let me say that we have a well informed membership group here at airforums. One that stands out when compared to other forums we’ve encountered online. We routinely see a level of courtesy and professionalism in member posts that are simply not common to other sites. To see behavior counter to this is concerning and frankly disappointing. We are all better than this.

The Staff
