2020 report: We need to focus on the working family

Score card = progress report was made at Midwinter and appeared in April BB.

Region consolidation is not ready at this time but recommendation will be made upon completion. Merging positions and regions will save money. Trying to keep regions at 12 and represent all the units as backbone of the club and become more involved is being considered. It appears either and/or the elimination of officers and regions is a move that will be recommended and brought up at the officers' seminar.

Originally this was complied that the representatives could discuss with the IBT but there is only one report available of the 12 regions and now that it is slated for Monday but members will not be able to comment then and do want discussion. On Monday only the IBT will be able to comment. We are "at ease" and will see if comments can be made by audience on Monday...or bathroom break whatever floats your boat...

intentions and confusion, now Darrel speaks and says he thought region people would be prepared...however they knew that some would not be prepared, Monday they will do it for those region presidents can report and NO COMMENTS will be heard and because it could go on all night there will be a limit on time.

If you have energy you are to use it up at a special member share meeting, yeah right...

This would have been one of those really good times to email all members and advise them of this telecast, so that those who are interested could be prepared and listen in.

And the "member idea share" on the 29th they have just referred to--who was aware of that so as to forward or share ideas??

The message from the marketing committee... If the club fails, it is the membership fault for not doing more to recruit new members.

Marketing report: the message is not being brought to the members, it is being dropped. Well yeah, this is the point of break down of communication. While they are speaking of e-mail what we have just seen is clear evidence of breakdown of communication with the time to express yourself cancelled until next year's meeting or Monday in a room away from the IBT and general membership. Benefits? New members, we are growing but 126 non-renews. We need to use benefits to experience it to see tangible benefits. ??? And they would be? Sky Med discount and right to pay International Rally fees and aspirations of grandeur and reembursements?

Takes 8 hours to link BB and region links $480.00 a month 4500 e-mails is for unlimited frequency. Constant contact is available if you contact headquarters.

The FREE system I suggested that the WBCCI use over a year ago gould send messages to members based on regions, units, all members, the first 3 letters of the last name - whatever way you want to do the mailing.
Isn't it interesting that they feel that regions can best reach the members by face to face contact, but there is a push to use electronic media to reach members.

Fred Richardson's comments about the WBCCI Forums is the same "it's all about the hits" mantra he was speaking in Louisiana in January. The use and usefulness of this Forum for WBCCI members is secondary to the more apparent goal of it being a marketing tool/source of monetary gain, correct?

Isn't publishing the BB part of the allocated responsibility of the Marketing Committee----the funds for which went to Fred Richardson's former marketing firm, which now belongs to his son?

Scott of the VAC apologized that he did not know he had to read the report, he is allowed to summarize...A (a frequent occurrence of long VAC reports,) a goal of a vintage rally in each region to draw members. They strive to hold seminars, open house, concourse, and have fun.

37 vintage rigs in parade.

He ends it there summarizing...

Region officers sponsored happy hour. Question: Why doesn't VAC support region 9? They have had two years running a rally 30 miles within geographical area at the same time. Answer from Scott I do not know but: Region 9 representative has resigned and they are looking for replacement.
