I hope all this correspondence is Via e mail so as to be current.
Should be interesting listening to the feed tomorrow.
I also think it is interesting that the letter referred to in post 20 was distributed by constant contact got to Forrest on the 21st and didn't show up here until today, 3 days later.

Maybe they ought to call it "intermittent contact".

It looks like the WBCCI could use a "Constitution Interpretation Committee". It could be the 12 region presidents making up the committee with the IP voting only in case of a tie. Kind of a Wally Supreme Court.

That is already what the IBT is and the duty they have.

Thumbs up GReat News from Mid-Winter IBT!

I have just recieved a telephone call from a member of the Executive Committee that a "special meeting" of the IBT was held today. President Beu has reversed his position due to the concerns of the Region Presidents. I have been assured that on Friday, Region 11 President Neumarkel will withdraw his motion #5 with the assurance from President Beu that the Constitution & Bylaws Committee will issue its letter of recommendation and the DENCO Unit motion to amend will be sent out to all the other Units of the Club.

I'm feeling pretty pumped!

Be sure to tune in Friday for the IBT simulcast!

Forrest,

That is great news, any time limit on the letter of recommendation?

Bill

I've just had a phone conversation with Region 11 President Neumarkel, and he believes all of this will be announced during the IBT Seminar scheduled tomorrow.

The seminar will serve as President Beu's confirmation of the agreement. Since Motion #5 is near the end of the agenda it is possible the seminar could carry over into Wednesday.

According to the WBCCI website:

"The Tuesday, January 25th, IBT Seminar will be broadcast from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The session usually breaks for lunch from 12 noon to 1 p.m."

"The Executive Board will meet on Monday, January 28th, beginning at 8:00 a.m. to be followed immediately by the International Board of Trustees meeting. There will be a break for lunch from approximately 12 noon to 1 p.m."

"Audio for the meetings will be streamed live. A windows Streaming Server is being used. Anyone who wants to listen to the meetings must use Windows Media Player and connect to the audio at http://WBCCI.primcast.com/WBCCI"

"The feed will begin approximately 10 minutes before the meeting begins. The microphone will be closed during recess and music will be played during this period."

That detail may still be something to work out, but March 20th is the deadline.

A big THANK YOU goes to Dan Neumarkel, Bob Moss and other IBT Region Presidents and yes, members of the Executive Committee. This would not have happened without them.

Agreed, Forrest, thanks are due to many of our leaders. And Thank YOU for your persistence in getting President Beu's misunderstanding straightened out.
