April Fools Day, perfect. Either which way, trick or treat, c'mon disclosure. If anonymous has not had the gumption secondarily that he had not had primarily, I say, to heck with that. Tell! Would you want the responsibility of being the one and only living person to receive such pertinent information that effects the worlds that may or may not collide or hang on the information solely released to you that will let us all SEE?! That is a HUGE responsibility from an anonymous source. Heavy...

Talking So what is it?

Is is an April Fool's joke or is it for real? If it is for real, then I think we have been patient enough!!!

Let us know!

Yuki,

Thought we'd let you know we got one too. We got 2! One exactly like yours from an undisclosed and secretive. The other had the same information regarding the name change, but was an e-mail forwarded to me by a member of the club (I need to protect my source).

I forwarded a copy to other members to see if they got it too. I however used my private e-mail box.

bug in the North East

It seems to be spreading throughout the North East. Wonder how far reaching this unusual strain of the chicken virus will go? And I thought there were only mad cows to contend with. We are like sitting ducks wondering about this latest outbreak. Thankfully many here have had their system become immune and will not be an issue.

Alice in Wallyland

Wow, Yuki!

I was feeling this was a hoax to be ignored, but, now I just feel like Alice, after having fallen in the rabbit hole!

Very interesting....yet confusing.

Send a message via Yahoo to yukionna
Deep Throat contacted me

I returned from camping this weekend to a message waiting for me from "Deep Throat" (DT). DT reiterated his/her original request to not reveal any details from the email / attachment on the A/S forum but DT is considering what, if anything, I can reveal in the near future. I anxiously await further contact from DT and will keep you updated as I learn more.

Whatever. Contacting people one at a time and asking them not to reveal it publicly seems like a really slow way to get the word out about anything. Typical WBCCI behavior!

Steph, that seems to really strike a chord. Unfortunately. Why can't "general membership" be privy to what "officers" say or do in the club? Why all undercover acts of suppression? What is there to hide? A person who means no harm always identifies himself.

Why do I hear Jack Nicholson in "A Few Good Men" as a Marine replaying in my head, "Son, you can't handle the truth!" Such arrogance.

You know, I think we ought to give Yuki a break here...

I'm sure she has good reason to hold off on sharing the contents of the email. It's possible it's a copy of private correspondence that has been intercepted by dubious means and distributed without permission from the original author.

I for one, respect her decision to do what she feels is "right" and verify the source, as well as get her questions answered. I would hope a person of integrity would do the same if my personal correspondence were intercepted...wouldn't you?

I'm annoyed at the original emailer. I think Yuki is doing just the right thing. I did not think for a minute she is doing it for attention (though I thought I was beginning to smell an April Fools prank). We shall just have to wait. If DT passes it to enough people, one of them will spill the beans

At this point I think it's more likely DT is pulling HER leg!

Just in case I was misunderstood, I didn't mean Yuki either!!! I meant the sender of the anonymous e-mail.

But nothing commands my attention and leaves me begging like a comment that I know I secret and I'm not telling. Who can resist? Not me. I bite every time.

1) This is exactly the problem with WBCCI and how it is managed by "those in the know" having their little secret back channels.

2) None of us could handle the big truths. But that has little to do with an out of date goverance style of WBCCI.

We have a saying here in this small Northeastern Connecticut area. If you don't want it in the Shopper's Guide then don't even think it....
I am still waiting for a conclusion to this story.
