Lucky us! Leon, Tom (my Dad), Mary (my Mom) and I had dinner with Lilli tonight. She is just back from her two weeks of fun filled adventure with her family - the Hamnqvists of Merrimack, NH who have been traveling all this summer throughout Alaska. So here is the latest - Per and the kids should have arrived at Prince Rupert via ferry sometime today. The Alaska part of their Alaskan adventure is now history. Since their last blog entry they have spent some additional time in Fairbanks working on the trailer. The highway to/from Prudhoe Bay did a number on it! They spent two nights in / near Denali National Park, some time in Anchorage and then Seward. They hopped a "day" ferry to Juneau and spent a day or two there. Lilli flew out of Juneau (not Anchorage as I had posted earlier) and you all know about Prince Rupert from two paragraphs above. Still wishing I was there with them

Indeed, lucky you!! Can't wait to see more of the Alaska part of the trip, and the return route to NH. Hope the bumps and bruises the Airstream suffered on the road to Alaska are healing now. They sure got a shake up!
For those of you new to the Hamnqvist's adventures, they live life in their Airstream to the fullest. It seems that every other year, Per is planning another extended Airstream adventure in his Airstream. One year it was up and down the East coast, another year it was across our beautiful country and now Alaska. What is next I'm not sure but I do know that one of these years I want to join them because it is always an adventure and it involves Airstreaming. What a wonderful combination!
Per and family camped with us at the NEU fall business rally last weekend and a few of us asked (ok, begged) him to post the rest of their Alaska adventure so that all of their groupies could be happy again. This segment ends at the Airstream plant in Jackson Center. THANK YOU Per!
