What about one of these? It's a 'tux' but would send the proper message!

is this for real or another internet hoax? Who has room in their Airstream for yet ANOTHER formal outfit. Well, we can always retrofit the pullout pantry for "tuxedo" storage.

Hmmmm! Twenty-seven pages of replies and comments on this one topic. I just bought a new 22 International, so I'm coming back to the WBCCI just for the fun of things like this! AND, I remember the last BOZEMAN when somebody must have said the wrong words out loud and golf ball sized hailstones pummeled the hell out of everybody's rig.

Accordingly, I offer the following comments:

On MY visit to the Oval Office I did not wear a Tuxedo and neither did the President. AND whenever attending one of the EIGHT White House "coffee hours" or "Receptions" I was invited to over 20 years under four different Presidents, I always wore a business suit--and so did the President. And that includes Richard Nixon who was a fop for pomp and circumstance, but even though he had the Marine Band play Hail To The Chief, he DID NOT wear a tux while coming down the main staircase with Pat.

I NEVER saw or heard of a tux--black or white--at anything but a "State Dinner" at the White House. (Coffees are at 2 pm, by the way, and Receptions, which include red and white wine and fancy finger foods, are anytime after 4 pm. And YES, they do remove the fancy rug from the State Dining room when holding functions for folks like WBCCI members who might drop a mini-lobster roll or spill some red wine.)

So, if the incoming WBCCI president was inappropriately dressed on HIS visit to the White House, that's his problem and embarrassment. Let him deal with it. If he's inappropriately dressed for his "Installation" that would be consistent. Let HIM deal with it.

Pete--I enjoyed your comments on the White House...love to hear more about those stories. Maybe we'll meet up at the rally. I was at one of the prior Bozeman's, but fortunately not the one with hail! That's one "Hail to the Chief" we DON'T want to play!

Glad to have the "strike team" aboard Ralph! Now we need to persuade G. of Airstream of Arkansas to put in another order!!! Guess no one anticipated this to be a yearly event coinciding with Wally's birthday!

You got to understand that for the individual who is next to be WBCI president that this is a big deal to him. I'm sure it's right up there with graduating high school and getting married. I hope that rather than it being a situation of one being stuck on one's self, it is a matter of simply wanting to make the event fun and memorable. Tux'es are no big deal, in fact I find them more comfortable to wear than a regular suit, I just don't think white is the most practical color, or non color scientifically speaking. I got a little more to share but at another time, I'm very worn out and it's past my "party hardy time".

It appears the woman in this article will never find herself sitting on the EBT.

Maybe one is washed this week and the other is due to go through the wringer in two weeks? Or could it be that one has fewer sweat and food stains on the front than the other?

I know, you are probably thinking that she shaves her husbands favorite race car number in her hubby's back hair just before the race aren't you......
