Trailer Number

I have a 77 excella 500 WBCCI # 9633. Is there a way to find out info on this trailer with this number and can I get this same number when I join WBCCI.

WBCCI#9633 is not listed in the 2007 WBCCI directory so chances are it is not in use.The only way to know for sure is to contact WBCCI and inquire.

Hey, please include me with the private message stuff on how to find information on the history of the WBCCI number.

I was able to get the old number that was on the coach, but have no information on it. It's listed in my public profile.

WBCCI regularly reuses the numbers but does not record what the year and model the member intends to put it on. (In fact they may have more than one trailer and have the same number on both as I do.) Since you do not know what year the numbers were put on or which member put them on, you can not easily track who owned the number when it was applied to that particular trailer. If you have a complete set of books (yearly member directories), you can get the names and old addresses of everybody who has ever used this number and then write them all letters to see if you can find a match of an owner with a particular model trailer. Most times this does not work as the people have usually moved and the mail does not forward after a year. Sometime the people are dead. Sometimes you get lucky.

I have sent you the details via private message.Only one other couple have had that number from 1968 until 2006.

Thanks for the info! When I got home, I picked up the paperwork we were given when we bought the coach, and compared the information you gave me, and found that they were the original purchasers.

They are not the people we bought the Safari from, so we are at best the 3rd owners.
