Okay, sorry to bring up a touchy thread again, but since Paul called my attention to the banner, this just jumps out at me every time I visit the forums: Does anyone else think that trailer that's second from the rear may need more tension on the lifter bars? The rear of the TV and the front of the trailer both look a bit down...

(Also, I can't believe no one else commented on this. Maybe it is just me.)

Ken, That white suburban and 31ft combo with WBCCI #5001 wrecked coming back to Denver from Gillette in 2009 avoiding a golf bag on the interstate. The suburban and our members, Janie and Armin survived without injury. The suburban needed a new hitch and some glass and body-work, but the trailer went on its side, kept the tow upright while sliding down an embankment and was totalled. We know this, because we were going to buy the combo after Gillette and she called to say the trailer was off on the market. Besides we always saw the combo lever, the photo angle and perhaps a dip in the pavement is causing tow rearend to be down.

Wow! What a story. Sorry you didn't get to close the deal, but happy to know your friends were not killed or injured.

That's pretty sad. I wondered if it was just something in the road in the picture - I can't believe a group of Airstreamers would let one go that wasn't set up correctly.

What's the problem? It was a fair question.

This is a great picture of an Airstream Caravan with Chimney Rock in the background. Chimney Rock was a major landmark to the pioneer caravans on the way to California or Oregon. Love it!
