Research by WBCCI Number?

Thank you Joe, I looked back at all my photo's and zoomed in as best I could. Now that you mention it I also see the spacing issue and can see a light shadow by the seam that could suggest a possible number. I will look in person in a few days as it is high in the air for now and then I will get back to you.

30248 belonged to Amousel Singleton from Albany, NY, in 1979, but they only stayed as members for one year. In 1983, 14202 belonged to Dave Reynolds from Moines, IA

Anyone know if it's possible to reclaim a number if it hasn't been reassigned? About 8 years ago we towed a 19' International Bambi, joined and was issued 1693. We subsequently sold the Bambi, did not renew and just recently bought our '09 20' FC. Thanks for any help. Jeff

If a number has not been used for a period of time (2 years?) It can be issued again. Contact the staff at HQ to get the number you want.

Can anyone help with info on 31870 ? It was ghost numbered on my AS when I purchased it some years back and I was able to get it back again and cover the original ghost numbers...would love to know my old girls history...

Three digit wbcci numbers are reserved for club officers and committee chairman , Contact Jackson Center via phone to find out what numbers are available and reserve the best that you can get. The phone numbers are available on the WBCCI.ORG website.

I never thought to check this before, but someone commented on my "low" trailer number. I told them that's what the group sent me an that it didn't mean I had been with the club for long. So I assume there is a history to our WBCCI number 1649 - can that be checked, please and thank you!

101 was assigned to Paul and Dottie Harshman of Tuscon, AZ Unit 004 Past President. In the 1976 Directory

We were able to get our ghost numbers 8485 for our 1965 TradeWind. Is the history of these numbers available?

8485 in the 66 directory belonged to Dr. M.A. Boyd and his wife Mildred. They lived in Monroe, OH and were listed as going on caravans 24 and 39. Caravan 24 was to Europe in summer of 1960 and caravan 39 was to eastern Canada in 1964 Since your trailer is a 1965, it is not the one they used. After 1965 they did participate in caravans 44 and 55. 44 went to Western Canada in 1965 and 55 went to Canadian Caribou Trail in 1967. They likely used your trailer.

Thanks for the history on 8485. Since we have the original purchase information from our trailer and the original owners lived in CA I think that our numbers probably were on a different trailer belonging to the Dr. in OH that went on those Caravans and must have been assigned to our trailer sometime later. I guess we would need to know a history of the different owners of the trailer and perhaps how long the numbers were inactive? Our trailer was purchased new in Aug. 1965 from a dealer very close to where I grew up in CA.

Margaret Ashton from Fremont, CA owned 8485 from 1974 to 1889, She was a president of local 127, but did not have any caravans listed. It does not appear that number has been reassigned recently.

Thanks! That gets our numbers from Ohio to CA. We know that our Trailer was in Nogales, AZ from at least 2007 to 2012 when we bought it. prior to that someone was living in it in Colorado but I don't know how long. Is there a way to trace trailer titles?
