Research by WBCCI Number?

Number 1010 first appears in the 1957 Directory issued to:
Louis & Harriett Diegoli
Somerville, Mass
They still had this number in 1973

I am going to voice my displeasure with this thread. I put a post on here 2 weeks ago asking for assistance with identifying a WBCCI number 21392 and the last person that number was registed to and nobody has responded with that information. Since my post, 2 other members have posted requests for WBCCI numbers and they received responses.

Can someone please help me identify who the last registered person was to WBCCI number 21392?

Not all members keep their old directories. A few of us do. I did not bring my collection to Florida this winter and some others that usually take our time to respond may have also been on the road.

My interest in Airstream is focused on the 1950's & early 1960's models. I have our directories from 1957 to 1966 (and a few after that). I try to respond to requests for numbers lower than 4000, as they would have been originally assigned prior to 1960.

Number 21329 belonged to Raymond & Mildred Swires of Ft. Myers, FL in 1973

The most recent number is 21932.

This will help me out greatly.

My 1970 directory lists the number to William & Vera Trepohl with a mail forwarding address in Sarasota FL
My 1984 directory lists the number to George & Louise Rockwell of Heavener OK

Those numbers are assigned to the people though and not a specific trailer, right?

The ghost numbers 10656 are on the back of my Bambi II. Any history available on these numbers? I sent a request to the WBCCI and they have no information on this number.

In 1970 the number was assigned to a couple in Cheyenne WY
The number also appears in my 1982-2006 directories to a couple from Ventura CA

There were no caravans listed for either couple in the directories I have.

From 2000-2006 it was assigned to a couple in Idaho Falls ID
