You should be able to easily peel those off and remove the residue with Nu-Finish and reapply new ones straight, centered, and level.

I'd get rid of those super jack decals, too...reflecting in the tank cover makes it even MORE cluttered. They should come off very easily, and you can polish the top of the jack case with Nu-Finish.

I wouldn't apply big decals or letters such as the big red letters unless I could apply them perfectly level, straight and centered.

Whoops...I see you already installed the red letters in the time it took for me to type my last post haha...

BTW...the "trick" to installing vinyl lettering straight is the use a soapy water mixture that you mist very lightly on the surface and then you apply the decal. You can move the decal around on the soapy water, peel it back up, adjust it to your heart's delight. Then, when you get it exactly where you want it, you squeegie is down gently without moving it; this forces the soapy water mixture out. There sometimes will be small air bubbles underneath that will work their way out. Once the mixture dries/evaporates the decal will be properly adhered. When you first try it, you will concurrently think "this will never work" as well as "oh so THAT'S how they do this!" haha...

I think it all came out pretty good except for the lazy 8.
I did a lot of measuring and marking.
The back turned out pretty good, but the 8 was tough- a lot of peeling and re-sticking going on. I don't want to remove the lazy 8 until I get one to replace it- maybe next year when I pay my dues I will ask for another 8- or a couple of 8's- the back one, although straighter, is sort of distorted from all the peeling and re-sticking. I had that on the list of things for Jackson Center to do, but I decided to attempt it myself.

It would help if they printed the whole number together on one sheet of paper. Maybe I will get the number that way from a sign shop. It would be a whole lot easier than trying to center and level 4 numbers.

That's exactly what we've done. The ones we received from WBCCI were not all from the same batch, so the type of vinyl & stickum wasn't consistent.

We just took them to the local Fast Signs - to match the font - and they printed out new ones spaced properly with fresh glue & vinyl. I was afraid with the inconsistent ones that they would "wear out" & peel off inconsistently too.

I know 3 owners of sign shops locally.
I will probably ride with my lazy 8 for a while. It really doesn't bother me much, even though I am OCD...or just replace the 8- the other numbers are pretty level and straight-

It would also be easier if they had paper on both sides- peel the paper off the sticky side, squeegee it onto the trailer, remove the top paper- like my "the Honys" sticker and our Airforums stickers.

I know that my big red numbers exactly level, plum and spaced, but when you back away 10 to 20 feet or more it is very very hard to see the imperfections. I would say that going 60 mph that no one will ever notice. Also if you conceder that most WBCCIers are retirees we will not notice either.
