We joined the New Mexico unit a month or so ago. Alas, we won't be able to attend any of the rallies right away, though we might be able to make it to the one in September. (Depends on business here.)

Are any of you attending the rally this month at Conchas Lake? I would like to know more about this unit since I've not had good experience with the Colo West unit.

Lynn What is the name of your campground in Angel Fire and where is it located?

Ours is the Monte Verde RV Park. We love Airstreaming guests!!! I've heard that United Campground is good in Durango, though I've not been there myself. Some of our guests here in the summer were workkampers up there, and they gave it a pretty positive review.

My two favorites in Durango are United Campground and Lightner Creek Campgroung - United is right at the edge of town on the train track and Lightner is 2-3miles out of town with a nice stream running through it.

Yes and no! We wanted to be members of both the Denver unit and the NM unit. Turns out you can join two of them, paying national dues once and the locals twice. Since the local dues are generally very low, it makes doing so not an expensive proposition.
Hey, Ken, I'm surprised that your son isn't down here! There are bicyclists all over this place right now!
