Ontario Get-to-gether

Anyone in Ontario looking for a place to take off on the August long weekend, we have a very nice park booked for Aug 4-7. Full hookups, a pool and golf on site, $25 a night. About 15 coming but lots of room for more if interested.
Just outside of St. Marys Ontario, or south of Stratford. Called Sicence Hill park. We don't restrict by make of trailer, everyones welcome here.

This get-to-gether is also open to anyone the U.S. who wants to see how nice the weather can be in Canada at this time of year. We have had sun shining for the past two weeks.

I believe you have picked the same weekend that there is a Metro-Detroit Forum Event in south east Michigan - not too far away from Ontario. You may have a hard time getting U.S participation from the Michigan/Ohio area because of this. Of course, you could pull a little farther and attend the Metro-Detroit event instead. I believe some Ontarioan's are already planning to attend the Metro-Detroit event.

By the way, if things were different, I'd love to make it to an event in Ontario. We go to Manitoulin Island each summer, and have travelled around Ontario a bit before we got the Airstream. A rally that included a play a Stratford might be interesting.

Doug.. the Ontario rally sound good and we are interested. Does the campsite have a web site. Is there more info on your get-to-gether at another location?

This is not a rally, just some people getting together for the weekend. We have about 15 trailers coming from all over, just a laid back weekend. Pot luck meals, a corn roast if corn is ready, a campfire at night.
The park is very nice, lots of trees and grass. Really is a golf course with camping. Out of the way and not very busy, with 83 sites we will be mostly on our own. No web site, I am offering the info here for people that want a great place for the long weekend thats not overrun.

I'm also interested ! I haven't heard of this campground.
Is it possible to see some pictures of this campground.
It seems really nice! I live in the Hamilton areas.

I don't have pictures on hand, but it's like camping on a treed golf course. Well cared for place, full hookups, quiet country location and no-one knows about the camping. 83 sites and most are empty, even on a long weekend. We have a great time.

We too are putting in an effort to make this meet as well. We need a break from the busy Provincial Park scene and this park sounds like a refreshing change.
