Hello from a new owner and future club member. We just purchased a 1970 sovereign with the old number still on it and I want to see if I can find the old owners, or at least their relatives. We live in the same city as the original owners. I think his name is or was Rudy White, and he was supposed to be very active in the WBCC during the 70's. The WBCC number is 19654. Anyone who might have info on the trailer or on Mr. White, Please let me know.
Thanks,
Greg

Hi Greg,
The name I came up with was Rudolph White of Baton Rouge,LA and the info I have is from 1986 which as far as I know is the last year that number appeared in a WBCCI directory.
He hasn't been in the club for at least the last three years I have books for. The good news is you can join the club and ask for that number, and since it's not currently in use, you can probably get it.

Hi All, can I jump in here with a question?? I just bought a 1967 overlander with the number 15 on it out of winter haven FL any suggestions on finding the original owner? Does WBCCI have a historian?

I have the opposite question. I had a 1966 trailer, 24ft. with WBCCI number 1966. I sold it locally to someone that was going to take a trip to Alaska. I had it for approximately 10 years. I just wonder if anyone knows where it may be located now.
I have been able to find Mr. White's daughter, still living in Baton Rouge. She is trying to find some pictures of her father enjoying the trailer with his grandchildren. If we can get any, we plan to hang the pictures somewhere in the trailer. Makes you wish the trailer could talk-- the places she's been, the things she's seen... Thanks to all who took the time to help me find Mr. White.

That is so cool .I hope she can come up with some pictures for you.
Is the number 15 in big red faded numbers on the front and back? If so, it was once owned by a fairly high officer of the WBCCI club. They have two and three digit numbers. The rest of us have 4 or more digits. These numbers are passed around quite a bit so you would have to know about what year they were used. The red color fades quickly so that may be a clue.
Yeah front and back and the numbers are faded. We just got it today and it looks like we have a lot of work ahead of us with our restoration but when I see all of the beautiful pics of the completed restorations it is encouraging ;o)

In actuality, the two digit numbers are not passed around quite a bit and the original owners may not have been a high officer of the WBCCI club.If this is the case they may have been one of the original members.
