I'd like to listen to the meeting simulcasts again. If I remember from when Leo ran from the floor, doesn't it take a long time to poll all the units? What day and time is that scheduled to take place? Also I would like to hear the meeting with the new constitution discussion and or vote. Any other pertinent new business ahead to watch for?

I also think Richard would be a great choice. 4CU has always impressed me as a grass roots start up unit. They camp, rally, caravan and have fun and stay current and involved. That really works. Keep WBCCI original (Airstream) and keep it going, pass it on!

We would also cast a "Yes" for Richard as 3rd VP. Richard both an articulate speaker and a listener--he would bring fresh ideas to the WBCCI. He is a charter member of one of the fastest growing units (4CU) that enjoys camping, rallying, and having fun rather than be regimented and lining up to tour some factory. Most of all he has vision and could bring in younger Airstream owners who want to be part of a fun Airstream group rather than a group that is stuck in the past.

Greetings from Sedalia, MO and the International Rally. I am running from the floor for the office of International 3rd VP.

My vision for the club is very simple. Listen to the members. International Officers are elected by the delegates who represent the units of the club. The International Officers work for all the members of the club.

Thanks for all the positive comments I have received.

What is your opinion of the Revision and the changes discussed at the Delegates Seminar last year? Have you seen the planned motions proposed by some?

The thing I liked about Richards resume was the technology experience. His time in the industry should go a long way in bringing the club up to date in its use of technology. The majority of the MN unit was voting for him.

During the seminar after the delegates meeting last year I spoke about some of the issues I have with the revision. The biggest problem I have is the elimination of the delegates meeting. I feel that motions should come to the floor so that the delegates can make changes as needed and then vote their units votes.

Remember, all unit members have a single vote when it comes to changing the club's constitution.

There will be a motion to include the Delegates Meeting in the Revision. I hope you will help us garner support for it!

Glad to see you are running. I'd vote for you but who knows what my Unit is doing...

Shame really, Richard is the kind of guy the WBCCI needs.

I would say that either candidate is the kind of guy that WBCCI needs. Don't underestimate Jim Schwerdfeger. I am really sorry that he will not be our Region 9 President, although his replacement will do just fine.

I don't know Jim so I can't estimate him. I do hope he like Richard is able to see what is needed to keep our club relevant and growing.

I wish Jim the best in his new role and am secretly happy we are not losing Richard and Jan.

I was a stong supporter of Richard and believe that we need people like him to lead the WBCCI. However, I met Jim and his wife Raisin at the region 7 rally last week. Jim is a great guy with a good sense of humor and he really cares about where we are headed as an organization. Jim and Raisin are friendly, fun, not the least bit stuffy or formal. They attended our installation ceremony in jeans! Well pressed jeans but still jeans...and suitably informal for the region 7 rally. Let's give Jim and Raisin our support and an opportunity to be successful.
