Nice Article about the WA Unit and the Land Yacht Harbor

The News Tribune,of Tacoma did a very nice article about the Land Yacht Harbor in Lacy, WA in its Sunday, "Soundlife" section. My wife and I recently joined the WBCCI WA unit and attended the annual Crab Feed and had a wonderful time.
Check out the article online at

On the road, cause she's always telling me where to go.

Small world

Thanks for posting the link.Enjoyed reading the article.I visited the park in 1987 and was impressed then.In the first picture in the article Judy Medford is shown and it refers to her 20000 mile trip recently.During that trip she visited my hometown here in Nova Scotia and I had the pleasure of talking to her again.I had originally met her at a campground in Jasper Alberta and then later at the Landyacht Harbour in Lacey back in 87.
Small world..

Thanks for the post Rick. I have just finished the inside of my 67 Safari and almost ready to take it on the road. One of the places I wanted to see is the Land Yacht Harbor. It would be nice to spend the winters on the West side of Washington and summers on the East side. I plan on checking out the place soon.

Small World is Right!

Hello, My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Judy Medford on Habitat in Slidell LA. this last January. We happened on some airstreamers from Washington and worked with them on finishing one of the houses. Wonderful people. We are visiting our daughter in Coeur d' Alene this July and touring West. May stop in at the airstream park if I can find it. Sounds like a very nice place. Bill
